New Song- Wait For Me

Shazam!

Here's the latest song from my album. I recorded it today. Just like Wavelenthgs, Wait For Me is essentially a vibrational translation of my thoughts, images and feelings emmited in summertime. As usually, the song is soaked in reverb, has some lo-fi production and indiscipherable lyrics.

I'm starting to experiment more and more with production and editing, using found sounds, reversing, looping, anything I can do to manipulate the sound. I think the coming tracks may seem a little more varried in structure and production. We'll see how things go..

More to come....

Long live experimentalism!

New Song- Wavelengths

Hello

Here's a new addition to my album.

Here's a new song I wrote today. I was thinking about waves and and radio frequencies. I think there's a connection between the two, like sea waves are the radio waves of the ocean.
I was thinking about surfing and sunlight. This song is really supposed to reflect the idea that we can all be in tune with each other through wavelengths. All we have to do is be able to ride these wavelengths, to be in perfect harmony with these waves or ghosts or souls.

I had this whole image of the beach, surfers and a sunset. The beach is a place of departure, it is final frontier before meeting the ocean, before jumping in the mouth of the world. The ocean is being lost in total and complete chaotic reverence, but at the shoreline we can quitely observed. Going into the sea is meeting with the Is, seeing the face of god itself. The sunrays are the energies given off from the souls, because all souls enter the sun. Anyways, you know what I mean. Waves, surf, sunset, noise, loop, psych, radio frequencies and a 4 track recorder to record all you feel...

Long live the wavelengths!

Brian Wilson

Hello

I've been working on the album but it's gonna get harder to make time for recodring because i have a summer job now. Ill be working at a community centre and doing graffiti art. Which will be pretty cool. Which brings me to show you some of my artwork.

This piece is called Brian Wilson, named after the Beach Boys leadinsger of the same name. It kinda of has a psychadelic feel to it. It was made using water colour paints. Dripping honey out of its mouth because thats what his voice sounded like. Undenialbly, Brian Wilson is one of the most important artist that has influenced me throughout the years. His phrasing, his lyics, his production....His voice is incredible. Here, i wanted to put more emphasis on the Pet Sounds era beach boy. Anyways, tell me what you think.
More things to come...

Enjoy!

Long live Brian Wilson

New Song- Candies or Crystal Babe

Hello

This is a new song. I wrote it and recorded it today. This is the first in a series of drafts for my upcoming album. Title impending, I'm thinking Candies or Crystal Babe.....

The song was recorded on Audacity, this really shitty program that you can download off the net. Its easy to use and the effects are straightfoward and simple. Ill be using this program to record the new songs until I can get a hold of a 4 track or something.

There will be more new songs to be uploaded. They'll all be in the theme for my new summer album. Itll be about summer, heat, sun, surf, teenagers, rebellion, 3 bean drinks, swimming and rich poolside girls...title impending.

Be sure to check out my myspace page at www.myspace.com/dimensionsdimensions.

Right, and my new name is The Dimensions. I'll explain later.

Long live the heat.

Enjoy!

Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!
