Burial

Hello! This is a song I recorded last night. The title explains the song. its about leaving a past, letting go of certain things that make you comfortable and safe and leaving them. its about being courageous, seek the darkness to drown out the light...Thats what im trying to do now, let go of these past years, and just start seeing things newly.

Burial. Love.

Heaven Skin

New song recorded today. I had this song in my head for a while. It's about reaching peace. The photo was taken when I was in Mexico at the moon pyramid, i think thats what its called. I wanted it to have a 'end of days' feel, like the world wasnt really ending but you were ending, but your sastisfied. you know what i mean?

Heaven, light.

Ocean, Love

Hello! This song was recorded and written last week I think. I think ive finally found my sound. This was one of the most fun to record and most fufilling songs ive ever made. It felt really good to finish. And i could really connect with it even after i had listened to it several times. The photo from above is from when i was in Holland. really nice beach. thats what inspired this song, its my love of oceans and seas, and waves. The vastness of the ocean....I think there's a great power in the warmth and comfort old memories can bring. I wanted to mimic that.

Love. Ocean.

1998

This is just about old things. Remeniscing, memories. Things fade. The title doesnt mean anything, its just a time and place that represented a whole period. Im just saying goodbye to old things....

Love. Xerathyn. Memory box.

Boredom, Love

Hey. Song recorded today. Just out of boredom, and of wanting to love something. Just wanting to create. Boredom stimulates action and creation.

Love Pixalations EP

Songs recorded yesterday. Shoegaze, wall of sound. I wanted to make a really pop sounding EP but just hazed with reverb and delay and distortion. Like pop music in a washing machine of noise and liquid sounds. Been listening to lots of My Bloody Valentine. And alot of Belong, Black Ryder....The album cover is a picture of my backyard. Here comes fall.....I really like Morning Breath.
Soul. Liquid. Love

History Virtual 7"

3 new tracks I recorded late last night and early this morning. It's nostalgic, its 90s, its punk, lo-fi, folk.....I wanted to make something very bare. the lyrics are very honest i think. they're more personal than the songs on Werid Summer and Phantom Curtain, not to say those albums were personal. Im specifically proud of Farewell Father, its my favourite track off this virtual 7".
Enjoy.

Hope. Love. Peace

Hello world. how are you?

sorry for the recent lacking of posts. Ive havent been busy, ive just been...lacking inspiration, no. not insipration, drive. Dont worry, new things will come soon. I just want to put some songs up that im really proud of. Cause i mean all of the stuff ive already put up was written and recorded in a really rough, stream of conciousness kind of way, i like that. but i always feel like i wanna change things. Im going to get better recording equipment, soon. And im going to start writing real concrete songs. I cant keep using Audacity, its a really shitty program, my microphone is shit.

Ive been listening to alot of Brian Jonestown Masssacre, after i saw the documentary DIG!. he's fucking awsome. And alot of My Bloody Valentine, i like their prodcution style. I really want to have that kind of sound, with really traditional song structures but with cool recording styles. Im still experimenting with sound and layers, and loops, melody....

Been reading alot stuff from Ajahn Chah. hes the man. the Bhuddist really have it figured out. Just trying to better myself. changes are coming, i can see them..

For now, im think im going to record some songs for the fall. im going to make a autumn record. just instrumentals, maybe some vocals. in the same light as Instrumentalism Acoustica. No effects, straight clean recording. ive been listening to ferndorf by Hauschka, its fucking great. really good fall songs. Anyways, look out for this EP in the coming weeks.

Love. Peace. Cold breath in the morning............
